These are brand new. I unwrapped one to put batteries in and test. These are lovely. The battery pack (2-C’s each), tucks up into the base. White pip berries and tiny LED lights cast a soft light. There are three settings: 1)STEADY 2)TIMER(Fast Twinkle) & 3)TIMER (Fast Glimmer). I believe these were sold on QVC.
