16" Artificial Bromeliad plant. Easy potting just get a 5 inch square glass container and fill it with decorative stones. Push the bromeliad into the center. You may have to trim the tail a bit so it will fit into the container. Makes it very nice display.THIS BROMELIAD IS NOT PLASTIC.IN CREATING IT, IT WAS FIRST MADE FROM FABRIC MATERIALS AND THEN HAND DIPPED INTO A POLYMER COATING SEVERAL TIMES TO GIVE THAT NATURAL FEEL. IT IS THE SAME POLYMER COATING USED IN ALL REAL TOUCH OR NATURAL FEEL FLOWERS. IT ALL STARTS WITH FABRIC FLOWERS. THE LEAVES ARE A MIXTURES OF POLYESTERS. SEVERAL BROMELIADS ARE OFFERED ON THE INTERNET AND MOST OF THEM HAVE RUBBER LEAVES. THEIR FLOWERS ARE THE SAME MATERIAL. YES, IT HAS A SHINY LOOK. COMPARE IT TO THE REAL PLANT THAT HAS A WAXY COATING ON THE FLOWER PART WHICH MAKES IT SHINNY. I GROW THESE HERE IN FLORIDA.I HAVE SEARCHED ALL OVER FOR GOOD QUALITY BROMELIADS.
