Alocasia ‘Low Rider’ is a compact version of the Alocasia ‘Portora’ which features a short plant with large leaves. ‘LowRider’ reaches a height of 16″ with leaves reaching in size of about 2 feet. You will receive the plant as shown on the picture or similar in size. ___ PLANT CARE ___ WATER – Weekly; Soil should stay moist but not wet. During winter, allow top 2″ to dry before watering. Water more frequently during warmer months. This plant is NOT drought-tolerant and will develop brown leaf tips with extended dry periods. Root rot can develop with soggy soil. LIGHT – Bright to medium indirect light. Not suited for the intense, direct sun as leaves will burn. HUMIDITY – Normal household humidity is fine, but higher humidity is preferred. Mist weekly. TEMPERATURE – 65°F-77°F (18°C-25°C). It’s best not to let it go below 65°F (18°C). FERTILIZER – Preferably during the growing season (spring and summer). _______________________ Please be aware that no plant is perfect and WILL have minor imperfections.
